About us

Who and what is Duke & Dana?

Duke & Dana is an online clothing store for men and women. We sell everyday pieces, the sort of clothes that get worn on ordinary days rather than saved for special ones, and we sell them directly to you through this website.

The idea behind the store is a simple one. Most people are not looking for a wardrobe full of trends. They want a small number of things that fit properly, work together, and can be pulled on without much thought on a weekday morning. That is what we set out to offer, and it is the standard we hold every new piece to before it goes on the site.

We are the seller of everything listed here. When you place an order it is our order to get right, and if something goes wrong it is our job to put it right. There is no third party for you to chase and no one else to point you towards.

We would rather describe a product plainly and answer your question before you order than talk you into something and deal with it afterwards. If that is the way you prefer to shop, you are in the right place.

From a long list to a short one

There is no clever trick behind the store. There are three habits we try not to break.

We keep the range tight

We would rather carry a short list of pieces we would wear ourselves than a long one we would not. Everything on the site has to earn its place next to what is already there, and anything that does not is simply left off.

We describe what things actually are

Material, fit and measurements come from the product's own specification rather than from our imagination. Where we do not know something about a piece, we say so instead of filling the gap with a guess that sounds better.

We answer before you buy, not after

Questions about sizing, delivery or returns are far easier to settle before an order is placed. Send us a message through the contact page and we will come back to you with a straight answer.

Clothes for ordinary days

Our range is built around the pieces people actually reach for. Knitwear, shirting, outerwear and trousers, in colours chosen so they sit together without much thought on your part.

We favour quiet colours and simple cuts over prints and slogans. Not because there is anything wrong with either, but because a plain piece goes with more of what is already hanging in your wardrobe, which is usually the point.

Every product page sets out the material, the fit and the measurements we have been given, so you can settle the size question before the parcel arrives rather than after it.

Delivery within the United Kingdom is free on every order, with no minimum spend. We ship to the United Kingdom only. Full details are on our Shipping Policy page.

Each product page lists the measurements and the fit we have been given for that piece. If you are between sizes, send us a message before you order and we will help you decide.

You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to return it, for any reason. There are no restocking fees and exchanges are accepted. You pay the return postage, and we refund you to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the item. Full details are on our Returns and Refunds page.

You will receive an order confirmation by email as soon as your order is placed, and a second email with a tracking number when your parcel is handed to the carrier. You can look your parcel up on our Track Your Order page.
